Horsegirl is a noisy rock trio from Chicago composed of Penelope Lowenstein (she/her), Nora Cheng (she/her), and Gigi Reece (they/them), all 17-18 years old. Horsegirl draws inspiration from shoegaze and post-punk, in the realm of ‘90’s American and UK indie underground. Together for just over a year, they have played contemporary art museums, all ages venues, open mics, and house parties.

Negative/Positive is a teen indie pop punk band from Milwaukee. The two founding members met in 2013 at the Girls Rock Milwaukee camp when they were 8 and 9 years old. Since then they have embarked on a nearly eight-year journey of making music together. Negative/Positive has released two previous EPs, many singles, and on March 26th of this year released their first full-length album titled “Mint Bag (Bag Full of Mints).” Their honest, sometimes quirky style of music ranges from Riot Grrrl feminist anthems and queer love songs, to soft rock ballads about the impending doom of climate change.
