Born in a cool basement during the summer of 2014, Faux Fiction is three-piece band originally based in Milwaukee, WI consisting of guitarist/vocalist Gabby Papale, bassist/vocalist Peter Hair, and drummer Paul Tyree. The group is heavily influenced by 90s alternative, grunge, and garage rock, which they blend with pop sensibilities to form their own brand of "pop fuzz". They return to the X for the first time after relocating to Rhode Island in 2020.

Fuzzysurf is a band suited for any era. Since formally introducing themselves to Milwaukee music fans with 2017’s great Me Wocky EP, the quartet has quickly garnered attention with their distinct sound that perfectly blends elements of ’60s-era surf pop with aspects of modern day indie rock.

The Keystones are an alternative modern-rock band based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born in Waukesha, the very same place as the electric guitar, the members of this unique, out-of-the-box rock group hail from the golden era of grunge guitar, one that’s full of heavy tones and hypnotizing garage beats that dance between Brit-indie-rock and new-age modern rock sounds. They’re a far cry from the glitzy, indie pop groups that seem to fall out of the woodwork these days, and they’re okay with that. Why? Because their goal isn’t to find the glossiest sound. In fact, it’s much bigger than that: they want to make the town that created the guitar as we know it proud.
