THE MILBILLIES

WAMI nominated New Artist of the Year (2020) and International Bluegrass Music Association Showcase Artists (2021), The MilBillies are a 5-piece string band that trades vocals like a fifth of bourbon and solos like a bull on a rope, slinging high-energy bluegrass stripped raw with Americana grit.
DIG DEEP
Bandcamp | Facebook | Instagram
Dig Deep is a four-piece string band based out of Wisconsin that has become a truly unique voice of the thriving Midwest roots community. “These guys flat out rip it up on stage… Tight vocals, surrounded by even tighter tunes, flowing through a stand-up bass, mandolin, banjo and guitar. They’re the Marshall Tucker Band with Johnny Cash as the front man, tossed with a Charlie Parr truth about them – spitting their very own innermost feelings about their musical influences growing up.” -Minoqua Brewing Co. “A year after the release of their eponymous debut, Wisconsin-based string band Dig Deep is following up with an offering on vinyl that is as ambitious in scope as it is in sound, and that’s anything but bluegrass. ‘The Lotta Morgan’ chronicles one of the most storied unsolved murders in Wisconsin history, the killing of a beloved Silver Street actress in the infamous hell town of Hurley during the days of the great Northwoods mining boom. With characteristic vision, craft, and clout, the four-piece group firmly establishes their ground outside the realm of conventional Americana while exploring sonic and literary territory that plumbs the depths of power and weight.”
