Shoulderbird is Meredith Nesbitt, Kyle Paul, Sarah Claussen and Lily Finnegan. Shoulderbird blends Americana and indie rock into surprising, lyric-driven songs, interlaced with and tied together by improvisation and landscapes of sound. They sing about the everyday, doing dishes, black tshirts, waiting, as well as the large arc of dreaming, loss, putting on a good face. Their debut record, Parade, is set for release in early November 2022 to be followed by a Midwest tour.
