Formed in 1992 – two-to-the-fifth-power years and a pair of Green Bay Packers Super Bowl victories ago – BORIS THE SPRINKLER spent the '90s as the undisputed clown princes of Midwest pop-punk (or, as the band self-identified on the cover of their “(Do You Wanna) Grilled Cheese?” 45, “Cheese Punk”), releasing albums with titles like Saucer to Saturn, Vespa to Venus, and Mega Anal on labels like Go-Kart, Beer City, and Bulge. The band has idled much of the 21st Century away in a state of semi-retirement -- members are currently scattered across
four ZIP codes, three area codes, and two time zones – but generally get together for a few shows a year when the situation demands it. Noblesse oblige and all that. 2024 finds BORIS fresh off an East Coast with their pals the ERGS and EGGHEAD, in support of a) the 30th anniversary vinyl reissue of their first album, 8-Testicled Pogo Machine (on Italy's Hey Suburbia Records) and b) Boris Gets a Clue, a concept record based on the characters from the classic Clue board game. Boris Gets a Clue – released on Boston's mighty Rum Bar Records -- is admittedly a goofy idea even by the band's own oddball standards, but Rodney Bingenheimer
has been playing it so perhaps it wasn't as crazy an idea as all that. Let the wild rumpus begin, and, as the band's setlists say, thank you for your interest in BORIS THE SPRINKLER.

Bev Rage & the Drinks are a loud, fast, and brash queer garage-pop band from Chicago. Fronted by guitarist Beverly Rage, a 7- foot tall drag queen with hair and heels, the band is known for their colorful live shows of all original music.
